The scene I would like to see is two characters Kairoan and Hania resting on park bench that sits in front of a large oak tree and placed front of it a dirt road. The bench is wooden and made of dark red oak with metal legs. It is late summer and isn’t quiet dark, but a few fireflies have started to light. Kairoan, an elf, sits on the top on the bench with his feet on the seat part. He’s facing front while playing a purplish-blue colored flute. His friend, Hania sits on the seat part of the bench her back to his knees with her head turned towards the front a gentile smile on her face as she listens to his sweet music. Her back hand is holding her facing side covering a wound she has received. Where the blood has semi soaked her dress, but not easily seen if not focusing on her hand. The other lays loose to the side.

The theme for this piece I want it to be a semi relaxed and happy scene, but a hidden sadness at the same time. This scene happens right after Kairoan rescues Hania from being executed by her elfin race for being a half-breed. They had succeeded in her one injury, but Kairoan got her away after that. So while fleeing Hania begged Kairoan for them to stop for a while. So unwillingly, he placed her on the bench shivering and holding her side. Kairoan tries to help, but Hania only touches his arm to stop him. She says she just wants to hear to Fearies Dance, a song she was sung to as a babe, and so Kairoan does for her. It's a calming song and Kairoan has a clamed face while playing, though his worry is gathering. Hania on the other hand is overwhelmed, but relaxed besides her Kairoan. She'd never thought she'd see him again, but now she feels this would be the truly be the last time. Hania's happy, though, because she truly loves Kairoan, even if he's obscured to the emotion.

The entitled painting would be called the Firefly Dance, hence the name of the song Kairoan is playing.

For descriptions of each character they are as followed; Kairoan - A nineteen-year-old looking elf with tanned skin and white hair that goes down to about mid back with his hair tucked behind his ears. Kairoan’s eyes are brown. He wears a forest muck green shirt with brown shorts with brown leather boots boot. His ears are a little longer then the size of a normal human and pointed. He is semi built, but nothing out of the ordinary. Hania- A sixteen-year-old girl with fair skin and short orange hair that is about the length of her shoulders. She has light blue eyes and pink lips. Hania wears a blue cloth bandanna that covers her ears, but doesn’t hold back her bangs along with a dark mint green dress that ends above her knees. The dress has bubble light mint green sleeves. On her feet are white leather boots that end at the top of her knees. They are laced with green ribbon and tied into a bow on top. Her body description is lean with a small breast size.

I really appreciated how this commissioner had everything described, from character appearances and location detail to the story setting.
Having a story was really nice. It's surprising how much it helps me get to know the characters I'm supposed to draw.
I love envisioning scenes with characters to begin with, be they mine or other people's.

I think I really tried putting some effort into the background.
I'm still weak on BGs... *forces self to draw more BGs*

Ohhh... and the bench... I remember actually googling for bench refs, bwaha.
Same goes with the positioning of the flute too *googled flutist pictures for refs*
