Beyond Our Walls 4 I was sick of reading school stuff, so I played around with Garage Band. I was never able to figure anything out on that program, so I didn't think this distraction would last long... until I DID figure out something. Then I couldn't stop. xP At first, I wanted to try and make a MP3 version of the MIDI Tris Ylavalt, but after facing several difficulties trying to achieve that, I finally decided to make an arranged (or more bluntly, a very messed up) version of it. x); It's still a theme about Tris though~ 7MB 11/03/06
Altona Braver ~for Kurot~ 6 A gift for Kurot~!! *o*;; For her Altona Braver~<3 Please go join her contest that she's holding right now~~!! ;o; As for this music... Back to orchestra music~ xD;; Funny how it was all I used to compose at first, but now I'm so used to mixing other types of instruments... like the power drum set, hurrhurrhurr~~ *____* But I think I'm still leaning towards orchestra stuff anyway... ah well. Aaaanyway, this music~~ ;___; Tried to make it mystical/medieval, and of course... game-like. xD;; I also used an updated version of Finale, ON MY MAC OMG!! O_O;; I usually save Finale music as MIDIs, but this one... it just sounded reaaaally weiiiiird and crappy as MIDI. ~_~;; But it was able to save as MP3, which my old version couldn't... so why not MP3. xD;; Ohh, and I must mentioned this - the violin in this program still sounds icky. Fragments of Telanima 4.5 I actually made this back in May, but was debating whether I should put this up or not. I made this to get more familiar with the new version of Finale. It still feels strange using this new version. =/ As for the music, it's slow. I aimed for something... pretty? Fantasy? A little sad? Bah, I'm not so sure. No wonder I felt unsure about this music in general, and so, the debate on whether to put this up and blah blah blah. Dx 5.4MB 6/07/07
Voyage 4 It's been nearly 4 years since I last uploaded a composition here! :( Needless to say, I'm extremely out of practice, and I actually considered quitting making music a few months back, but I'm glad I decided against it in the end and played around once more! I wanted to try for a BGM you might hear in a harbor town or boat in a video game, but it wasn't exactly going where I wanted it to go, so I personally associate it more with when Lionel and Nimue (from my online manga) leave Ebanand Harbor. I ran into some problems with Finale when I made this though; I couldn't export it as an audio file because my Mac (Leopard) is too new for Finale to keep up with it (I use Finale 2007). Most ridiculous bug I've encountered yet! 8.7MB 5/04/11
Wasteland 4.5 Since I ran into problems with Finale with the last piece, I decided to explore GarageBand again. I discovered how to manipulate certain effects and managed to create an overdriven guitar and drum set that's far better than what I've been using in Finale! So I played around with those (mainly drum set) and didn't put much thought to the rest of instruments, so it's relatively simple. Maybe something for a wasteland BGM, or maybe even a short battle theme? 3MB 5/06/11
